With over 17 years experience in media I've worked across online, print and TV for some of the biggest media companies—Newsweek, Travel Channel, AFAR, HGTV, Google and more. I've also relaunched websites and created editorial strategies from the ground floor up for startups such as Adventure.com. My hallmark is creating something new—whether that’s reimagining an established outlet’s content or creating a new editorial vision from scratch.

Newsweek’s Future of Travel Awards

Most recently, as Newsweek's travel editor, I spearheaded Newsweek's Future of Travel Awards 2021 from ideation to execution. For Newsweek's first-ever travel awards I led the project on every level: from creating the theme to putting together a panel of travel experts (that included myself) to highlight those who are creating a travel industry for the future—one that's more adaptable, sustainable, responsible, innovative and inclusive.

 

Relaunching Adventure.com

As editor in chief, I helped relaunch the global startup Adventure.com, including creating a new editorial vision, website, brand and content strategy. I led a team of editors, writers and photographers based all over the world for a new global online travel magazine, owned by Intrepid Group but completely editorially independent during my editorial leadership.
